To make it (almost) 3 posts in 3 days, here’s something I’ve seen on a few other blogs recently.
IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, here’s how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc.)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that’s playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool!
Opening Credits: Everlasting Love - Robert Knight (from 1974 compilation)
Waking Up: Will You Fall For Me - Delta Goodrem (from ‘Innocent Eyes’)
First Day At School: Next Love - Hepburn (from ‘Hepburn’)
Falling in Love: Alabama Song (Whisky Bar) - The Doors (from ‘The Very Best Of’)
Fight Song: Rehab - Amy Winehouse (from Top 40 compilation 17/03/07)
Prom: Back Door Man - The Doors (from ‘The Very Best Of’)
Life: Heaven Up Here - Kelley Stoltz (from ‘Q Covered - The Eighties’)
Mental Breakdown: Polkarama - Weird Al Yankovic (from ‘Straight Outta Lynwood’)
Driving: Hang On In There Baby - Johnny Bristol (from 1974 compilation)
Flashback: Fragile - Sting (from ‘Fields Of Gold - The Best Of’)
Getting Back Together: La Mer - Sarah Brightman (from ‘Dive’)
Wedding: What You Waitin’ For - Gwen Stefani (from ‘Radio 1s Live Lounge’)
Birth Of Child: Slide - Dido (from ‘No Angel’)
Final Battle: Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting - Elton John (from ‘Rocket Man - The Definitive Collection’)
Death Scene: Push The Button - Orson (from ‘Radio 1s Live Lounge’)
Rememberance Song: Wake Me Up - Norah Jones (from ‘Not Too Late’)
End Credits: Big Boy On A Saturday Night (from ‘Titanic Days’)
Some strange matches, and even stranger that although my iPod has about 2900 songs to choose from it picks songs from the same album a few times…
